There’s no doubt that Thalapathy 69 is the most awaited Kollywood movie of 2025. The primary reason for this is that it will be Vijay’s final movie before he gets busy with full time politics and his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. Thalapathy 69 shooting is in progress and the movie is doing record business already. Vijay in top form and due to this, all areas business ratios are happening at all time record prices.
The film is being planned for either Dasara/Diwali 2025. With Kantara prequel announced for Dasara Release, Thalapathy 69 may not go direct clash. Kantara Prequel will have a huge craze just like Baahubali2 , KGF2, Pushpa 2 in all languages.
This leaves us with Diwali which is a highly profitable season for Kollywood as we are observing with Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran. On top of this Diwali 2025 falls on Thursday making it even for lucrative for Thalapathy 69 release.
The film will be directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Venkat K Narayana under KVN productions banner. Anirudh Ravichander will compose tunes for the film making it his 5th collaboration with Vijay. The film features a massive starcast of actors from multiple industries and is be a pan-India project.
