Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce workers’ strike is a success, wages hiked by 15% – 30%

Here’s a piece of great news for cine workers of the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce. The issue discord the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce and Federation of Workers has now been resolved after a lengthy strike.

As per the outcome, it’s been decided to raise the wages of daily workers on film sets to 30% for big-budget films and to 15% for smaller-budgeted ventures. A press note was released on Thursday declaring the same.

The meeting was chaired by Dil Raju from the producer’s side where he accepted all the demands of workers on behalf of TFCC. The strike of workers comes right after the suspension of shootings in Tollywood that was called by Dil Raju and co. The shootings were stopped to discuss a way ahead for Tollywood over rising hero and director’s remunerations.

With back-to-back hurdles resolved, Tollywood can now go back to shootings in a regular manner.
