The main reason for the low hype for Jana Nayagan in Telugu is that the film is a remake of Bhagavanth Kesari. Naturally, an audience will not be interested in watching the Telugu remake of a Tamil-dubbed film.
The team and the close circles say that the film is not a complete remake, and they have just taken the basic plot and a few scenes. But, still, Telugu audiences might not get excited for this film due to the remake factor.
Also, director H. Vinoth does not have any brand in Telugu audiences. The promotional content of the film, including today’s glimpse, did not work with Telugu audiences, and the film is releasing for Sannkranthi.
For Sankranthi, Chiranjeevi, Raviteja Film, and Sharwanand have lined up films, and there might be one more biggie ready to join the list. So, it will be tough for Thalapathy Vijay’s film to compete with them.
That is why Vijay’s Jana Nayakudu’s prospects at the Telugu box office are looking weak. So, the team needs to put in massive efforts to create the required buzz in Telugu.
Everyone knows that Jana Nayagan is the last film of Vijay, and this sentiment factor will work only in Tamil and not in Telugu.
