The Government of Telangana has officially released a new GO approving the ticket rate hike for the highly anticipated Akhanda 2, and the hiked ticket prices will be allowed for 3 days only, similar to the old order.
A special benefit or premiere show for the Akhanda sequel will be screened from 8:00 PM on December 11, 2025, with ticket prices set at ₹600 (inclusive of GST). Following the release, from December 12 to December 14, ticket rates will increase by ₹50 per ticket in single-screen theaters and ₹100 per ticket in multiplexes, inclusive of GST, unlike other major films.
It is widely known that the makers of Akhanda 2 faced unexpected troubles last week, and the support from the Telangana government with the new GO will certainly make them happy, as the film can get maximum collections from the premieres and first-day ticket sales.
Certainly, fans will flock to the screens to watch the Akhanda sequel, and the good news is that bookings in Telangana will open on the BookMyShow platform soon (7:02 PM).
