Fans have been waiting for a long time for an update on Jai Hanuman, the sequel to HanuMan, announced by director Prasanth Varma. Recently, some rumours about differences within the team created concern among fans. However, Teja Sajja’s team has clearly denied all such rumours regarding Jai Hanuman.
HanuMan (2024) gave a breakthrough to both Teja Sajja and Prasanth Varma. The film remains the highest-grossing Sankranthi release, with a worldwide gross of around ₹295 crore. At the end of the movie, the director announced the sequel titled Jai Hanuman, in which Kannada actor and director Rishab Shetty is set to play the role of Lord Hanuman.

The film was expected to begin shooting in early 2026. Meanwhile, rumours started circulating online claiming that Teja Sajja was unhappy with his character in Jai Hanuman due to limited screen time and that he had exited the project.
Responding to these claims, Teja Sajja’s team released an official statement, saying that his relationship with director Prasanth Varma remains unchanged. They clarified that there are no issues at all and that the rumours are completely false and baseless. The team also requested that everyone not spread such misinformation.
