Prime Video subscribers and Tamil OTT viewers have good news. The much-acclaimed series Suzhal is returning with Season 3. The pre-production and scripting work are currently progressing at a fast pace.
According to reports, filming for the new season is expected to begin this August. The series is created by Pushkar–Gayathri.
Suzhal Season 3 will once again feature Kathir and Aishwarya Rajesh in their respective roles. In addition, several new actors are expected to join the cast.
Season 1 of Suzhal was set against the backdrop of the Mayana Kollai festival and focused on the mysterious disappearance of a young girl. The investigation uncovered many dark secrets and ended with Nandini killing her abuser using Sakkarai’s gun, which led to her arrest.
In Season 2, Nandini struggles with life in prison for the murder committed in Season 1. Meanwhile, SI Sakkarai is suspended from duty and haunted by guilt. Despite this, he investigates the murder of lawyer Chellappa, leading to another gripping mystery.
