Presently, the actor is filming his upcoming pan-Indian film, Kanguva, which is being directed by Siva, who is well-known for films mass entertainers like Vedalam, Viswasam, and more. According to the reports, the film has entered its final filming schedule in the latest update. It has been reported that the final phase of the shooting will take place in Bangkok, and is expected to last for a few weeks. Yesterday (October 3, 2023), the actor was observed at the Chennai International Airport as he headed to Thailand.
The final schedule begins today in Thailand and the schedule will continue until this month’s end or November 1st week and with this the total shoot part of Kanguva will be completed, and then the team will start the post-production works. Also, Suriya will move to Sudha Kongara’s project. The film Kanguva is planning for April mid-release in theaters.
Kanguva is the first time that Suriya and Siruthai Siva have collaborated. Suriya is said to have multiple roles in the film, which is said to have the periodical portions and current day scenario as well. In addition, the film marks Disha Patani and Bobby Deol’s debut in Kollywood. Kovai Sarala, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, KS Ravikumar, Redin Kingsley, and others are said to be featured in the film.
On July 23, the makers released a preview/glimpse of Kanguva on the occasion of the Suriya’s 48th birthday. Fans were enthralled by the glimpse of Suriya’s unrecognizable appearance.
