Suriya’s next film is Karuppu, directed by RJ Balaji and though the film’s release date is not official yet, there are several reports running among the industry circles regarding its story and it is being said that it is made as a powerful myth meets modern day mass drama.
According to the reports, Suriya’s Karuppu tells the story of Karuppasamy, the demi god who still protects his people. The film has a small ancient portion showing his origin, but most of the story happens in the present age.
Lawyer Saravanan undertakes a pivotal case, embodying the power of Karuppasamy. The film features Suriya in the lead, with supporting performances by RJ Balaji, Trisha, Indrans, Swasika, and Sshivada.
The movie boasts solid content, mass moments, and high-impact action, ending in a fiery, dialogue-rich Karuppasamy power display that promises to deliver goosebumps to the audience.
As said above, the team is yet to announce the release date due to non theatrical negotiations, and they are planning to arrive in early 2026.
