On the occasion of Tamil actor Suriya’s birthday, he provided his fans with the first glimpse of his much-anticipated film Kanguva. The action thriller’s teaser was like a real treat on a special day for the fans. Suriya is portrayed as a powerful warrior in the video, which is about 2 minutes 21 seconds long.
So, after watching the glimpse and teaser, everyone expected the film to be a historical film like Baahubali and Ponniyin Selvan. However, the producer confirmed that the historical portions are just a part of the film. The film will also have the typical contemporary parts which would be taking place in Goa with the combination of Suriya, Disha Patani and other artists.
Even the director of the film, Siva himself cleared that the film is not just a fantasy film, it has no relation with fantasy and the character of Kanguva has no supernatural powers. Although the film’s setting is mythological, it is not a fantasy film that they have created. He explained that the movie features an important historical episode that depicts the events that occurred 1500 years ago in Tamil Nadu. Kanguva is produced by Gnanvel Raja and also features Disha Patani in the female lead role.
The video portrays Suriya as a warrior with a captivating voice over while praising ferociousness. Suriya, as Kanguva is shown so powerful that he is capable of capturing the cloud, riding the wild elephants and confronting a white Tiger, and with all this, instilling fear upon his enemies.
