Director Sukumar has taken up the initiative of providing oxygen to the needy in the current pandemic situation. He has decided to set up an oxygen plant in his hometown in Razole, AP. This will provide additional help to combat the shortage of oxygen for the Covid-19 patients.
With the present Covid second wave taking a deadly turn celebrities are stepping up to help the needy. Sukumar has decided to contribute Rs 40 lakhs towards building a DOCS80 Oxygen generator plant.
Sukumar had initially planned to supply oxygen cylinders and concentrators to needy patients. However, the director decided to contribute another Rs 15 lakhs to build an oxygen plant. The plan is of generating mass production of oxygen to meet the demand, said a source close to the director
Sukumar is currently busy with Pushpa currently. The action drama is shaping up really well with some big names joining the movies’ cast. Covid second wave has caused multiple delays to this much-awaited movie. The movie is slated to release on August 13th but the makers might be now looking for a later date as the shoot has seen multiple delays.
