Sai Durgha Tej’s SYG (Sambarala Yeti Gattu) has officially wrapped up its shoot. The makers shared a special video marking the end of a long and tough journey, and it shows just how much effort has gone into the film.
The film is set for a grand release on January 12, 2027, for Sankranti.
160+ Days of Sweat and Grit
The wrap video opens with a big number: 160+ days of shooting. It calls the journey one of “sweat, grit and passion” for “one vision and one ambition.”
The video takes fans behind the scenes, showing massive sets, huge cranes, a giant crowd of junior artists and a green-screen stage filled with chains and wooden towers. It gives a clear idea of the scale the team is going for.
A Raw Glimpse of Sai Tej
In between, the video offers quick shots of Sai Durgha Tej in character. Covered in blood, with chained, bandaged arms and a rugged, bearded look, he looks completely transformed.
This is Sai Tej in his most intense avatar so far, and the short glimpses have already got fans excited.
Sai Tej Thanks the Crew
One of the best moments in the video is Sai Durgha Tej speaking to the entire crew on the last day. Standing in the middle of the set, he thanks everyone who worked on the film and folds his hands in gratitude.
Then comes the fun part. Sai Tej celebrates by pouring fake blood on the crew members and technicians, turning the wrap into a messy, joyful moment. The team ends the day with a pooja and group photos.
The Team Behind SYG
SYG is written and directed by Rohith KP. It’s produced by K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy under Primeshow Entertainment.
The film is a big-scale period action drama and one of the most ambitious projects of Sai Durgha Tej’s career.
Sankranti 2027 Release
With the shoot done, the team will now move fully into post-production. SYG is locked for January 12, 2027, which puts it right in the middle of the Sankranti festival season, the biggest box office window in Telugu cinema.
Sai Tej’s last big success came with Virupaksha. Fans are hoping SYG takes him to the next level.
