The people of Chennai were captivated by actor Vijay Deverakonda, who was extremely candid, precise, and humorous in nature. He stated that if there was one person he loved deeply and would want to kidnap, it would be music director Anirudh. Vijay called Anirudh a “Skinny Boy” out of love and said the young music director is shaking the world at the moment.

He was speaking at an event to promote his upcoming film Kushi, which will be released on September 1st. There he talked about the South Indian Cinema, Anirudh Ravichander and his film, of course.

When asked about a talent that the Telugu film industry is lacking, the actor responded, ‘We have superstars in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.’ The directors we have here are also extremely talented. But if there is a man I truly love and would want to kidnap, it would be Anirudh. I don’t have him there.”

Vijay Deverakonda mentioned that if he could lift and take Anirudh, he would do it despite the presence of superstars and directors. “The man is gifted to a different level. I have never met him, but I love his work so much.”

He further remarked, “In Telugu, out of love, they have a sweet name for him. They call him “Bakkodu” (Skinny Boy). So, Skinny Boy is shaking the world. I think he should be protected, and if you ask me who is my favorite, I will bluntly say Anirudh.”
