Silambarasan, aka Simbu, has won numerous Telugu hearts lately. The Tamil actor came forward to donate a sum of INR 6 lakhs for the chief minister relief fund of the ongoing floods in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Further research revealed that the donated sum is the salary he received for his work in Pawan Kalyan‘s OG. Yes, Simbu has signed to sing a song in the film that is written and directed by Sujeeth Reddy.
Thaman is the music composer of the film. Sources claim that Simbu initially refused to accept any paycheck, citing that he did it out of love for the ‘Power Star’. Considering Kalyan’s political stance and DVV Danayya’s generousity, STR chose to donate the amount to the CM Relief Fund of Telugu states.
