The film broke even Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter opening record and set a record there thanks to the popularity of Prabhas. Now, interestingly, an Actress, Shraddha Kapoor is all set to break Prabhas’ record in the Hindi Market.
Shraddha Kapoor’s current film, Stree 2 is releasing in the theatres on August 15th and the premieres will be out on 14th August night itself. The film’s advance bookings have already opened and started on an extraordinary note. Stree 2’s horror-thriller genre and sequel craze with a holiday advantage are greatly helping the film. The trade is expecting the film to open with a record opening number of this year by breaking Kalki 2898 AD in Hindi Belt easily by a big margin.
More than 30 crore nett is expected on the opening day itself which is huge for a Sharddha Kapoor starrer. Stree too became a sleeper hit grossing more than 100 crores and now, Stree 2 may even gross 200 crores if talk of the film secures a positive one. This will be a big relief for Bollywood which is witnessing a dull phase currently.
