Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 has been officially announced for a December 5, 2025, release. Despite it being a highly anticipated sequel, Sharwanand has decided to clash with Balakrishna by releasing his sports-based film, Biker, at the same time.
While it’s common for multiple films to release during festivals like Sankranti, clashing with a big sequel like Akhanda 2 is a bold move. Still, Sharwanand is taking that risk and is ready for a direct box-office clash with Balakrishna.

The makers of Biker recently released a glimpse video along with the official announcement that the film will hit theatres on December 6, 2025.
The glimpse opens with the dialogue: “Every biker has a story. A story of racing against time. A story of facing death. A story of someone who keeps pushing through, regardless of the challenges.”

The glimpse showcases thrilling bike racing sequences filled with adrenaline and emotion. That final dialogue, ‘It’s not just about winning… It’s about giving it your all until the end,’ packs a serious punch.
Biker is directed by Abhilash Reddy Kankara and produced by Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Uppalapati Pramod under the UV Creations banner. The film stars Malvika Nair as the female lead, with Ghibran composing the music.
