Mollywood is currently in a big embarrassment. The Government there had constituted a committee to report about the atrocities and sexual harrassment experienced by many Actresses there. The committee named Hema Committee studied and submitted its report recently. Now, Malayalam Actor, Nivin Pauly is alleged to sexually assault some woman. This has become a sensational news now. A sexual abuse case has also been filed against Nivin Pauly officially.
The allegation states that Nivin Pauly had assaulted her abroad by promising her a role in his film. Nivin Pauly took no time to counter this. He has officially called for a press meet and condemned the case registered. He denied all the allegations against him and even suspected a foul play in the accusation. The Actor also said that he was ready to face these allegations legally and requested the media not to flare up the issue.
Recently, Artistes Association body of Mollywood was accused of protecting people who sexually assaulted many women in the Industry. The body was immediately dissolved. Interestingly, Mohanlal had headed the body. He too was under the heat and had to resign for his post. He was recently questioned about these issues as well. All these issues are currently rocking Mollywood.
