September 5th is not a big festival date. However, there are multiple films, including Tej Sajja’s Mirai, lined up for September release, and they made it a mini-Sankranthi.

In the first week of September, there are no big festivals, but still, many films target the same date, from pan-Indian biggies to small films.

Movies Releasing on September 5:

Teja Sajja’s Mirai was officially announced on 5th September, and Anushka Shetty’s Ghaati, which was postponed from 11th July, is now looking at 5th September as an option.

Rashmika Mandanna’s film, The Girlfriend, also aims for a 5th September date. Along with these, dubbed films like Sivakarthikeyan-Murugadoss’s Madhrasi also arrive on the same date.

Dulquer Salman’s Kaantha is also planning to release on the same date, and Vijay Antony’s Bhadrakali was officially announced for 5th September.

Many films alongside Tej Sajja’s Mirai are lined up for September release and made it a mini-Sankranthi. Definitely 3-4 from the above-mentioned films will arrive on the 5th of September, and a big clash is confirmed.

Mirai Tops Audience Preferences:

Undoubtedly, in this race, Mirai will be the 1st preference for audiences. So it will impact other films, and the movie itself may face the heat of a box office clash.

A biggie like Mirai needs a solo release at least for one weekend to get huge numbers at the box office.
