Sankranthi 2026 will see two biggies, The Raja Saab and Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu, arriving at the box office, and the producers of both movies moved to the Telangana High Court for a ticket price hike.
Will the Telangana High Court Approve Ticket Hikes for Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu and The Raja Saab
Producers T. G. Vishwa Prasad, Ishaan Saxena, and Sahu Garapati have asked the court to put a hold on previous single-judge decisions that stopped ticket price hikes in Telangana.
A few days ago, Justice Shravan Kumar at the Telangana High Court put a hold on a memo from the Chief Secretary that approved higher ticket prices for Akhanda 2. He asked the officials to prevent ticket prices from going up. Following this verdict, Telangana’s Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy announced that the state government won’t be considering any more requests for ticket prices.
