On day 1 the movie collected 5 crores across the world, the movie did even better on its day 2 getting 6 crores. This is a rare feat. So, the total collection for the first two days are 11 crores. Yashoda collected 3.4 crores gross in Nizam for the first two days, in ceded it got 60 lacs, Andhra area received 2.7 crores, overseas has been the strongest zone for the movie collecting over 3.5 crore gross, rest of India got 0.7 crores. Overall the 11 crores was evenly distributed across territories showing that it is a universal hit.
Many box office analysts are surprised seeing the woman centric movie surpassing movies of tier 2 heroes and senior heroes.
Opening of Yashoda is far better than movies like Thank You, Ghost etc. making the industry that content matters and women centric movies have good market provided the story is good.
