Samantha has set her eyes on Bollywood and decided to venture into diverse projects other than those in Tollywood and Kollywood. While she was recently seen in Kushi last year, she also made a massive splash in Hindi with a negative role in Raj and DK’s Family Man 2. Her performance was well appreciated and the actress is busy with multiple projects in Hindi.
She will be next seen in Citadel by Raj and DK which will co-star Varun Dhawan. She has signed another web series ‘Rakht Brahmand’ with Netflix which will be directed by the same duo. This show will also feature Aditya Roy Kapoor and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles. The period fantasy show will be directed by Rahi Anil Barve and will go on floors in August.
Apart from this, Samantha will co-star with Mammootty in a Gautam Menon project which will go on floors in August. Samantha will also be seen in Thalapathy 69, directed by H Vinoth. This is a landmark project which will be Vijay’s last before he enters into politics.
Samantha is currently struggling a bit in her career with consecutive box-office failures in the form of Yashoda, Shaakuntalam, and Kushi. With so many exciting projects for big screen as well as OTTs, Samantha fans are surely in for a treat in the coming days.
