Actress Samantha uses social media platforms actively. She posts something very often on certain occasions. Now she is something up for a cause. Samantha has called for a harrassment committee for TFI. This comes in the wake of recent Hema committee established by the Government in Kerala for Mollywood. Samantha urged Telangana Government to establish same environment for women in TFI.
She posted this on her Instagram as story. She said that she welcomed the Hema Committee report and applauded the efforts of it as well there. She demanded that a similar committee be set up here as well to safeguard the rights of women. It needs to be seen how the Government responds for this. Previously, an actress named Sri Reddy created large controversy by dragging in many celebrities for many atrocities in the film Industry.
Samantha didn’t voice her support for Sri Reddy then and became silent. But she is demanding a committee here now. So we have to see how things go here. With the effect of Hema Committee, Artistes Association body of Mollywood, AMMA has been dissolved and Actor Mohanlal had also resigned as the head recently. The controversy is still rocking Mollywood there. The same may happen here as well.
