Everyone has been stunned by the delay of Prabhas’ Salaar, and Rebel Star fans who were hoping for an impressive comeback after a string of failures are left with great disappointment.

After the postponement, there have been numerous rumours regarding the release date. Various release dates, including the first week of November, the end week of November, Christmas, and Sankranthi, are being suggested by various sources and industries.

The official announcement is expected anytime from now and we will mostly receive a final date by this weekend. The film will certainly be released in this year. Salaar team has reportedly locked the release date in November and it appears the makers have a Diwali release in mind. While this sounds great, the makers are also in a fix with several suggestions of distributors for other dates as well. Only an official announcement will end these speculations and provide clarity about everything.

Meanwhile, the postponement of Salaar has opened up a huge opportunity for movies across the industry. Ram’s Skanda and four Tamil films are pushing their movies to Salaar release date. This shows the craze of the Prashanth Neel film in all markets. As long as Salaar was set for 28th September, no one was ready for competition and now with this postponement, all others are looking to block this date.
