Natural Star Nani has made a special request to the Telangana government to allow him to watch the premiere of his upcoming film The Paradise with audiences at a theatre in Hyderabad’s RTC X Roads. The film, directed by Srikanth Odela, is scheduled to hit screens on September 24, with a special premiere show on September 23.
Nani approached Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and Telangana Police officials seeking permission to attend the premiere at the iconic cinema hub.
The actor’s request stems from his belief that the real joy of making a film lies in experiencing it alongside the audience. He wants to sit among moviegoers at RTC X Roads and watch their reactions to The Paradise firsthand. For Nani, watching a film with audiences has always been an important part of his connection with cinema.
Nani assured the authorities that all necessary safety protocols would be followed, with public safety remaining the priority. The request comes as The Paradise prepares for release with premium ticket pricing across Telangana.
CM Revanth Reddy Responds to Nani’s RTC X Roads Request
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy responded positively to Nani’s respect for safety guidelines but asked him to submit an official application to the designated local police station.
The Chief Minister stated that the application would be reviewed by the concerned authorities, who would decide based on crowd management and public safety requirements. He appreciated Nani’s commitment to The Paradise and praised young Telangana filmmaker Srikanth Odela.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand responded to the request, pointing out the practical challenges involved in managing a large gathering at RTC X Roads.
Safety Concerns Amid Festival Season
The timing is significant as Ganesh idol immersions are underway across Telangana, with large crowds expected around Hussain Sagar. Since RTC X Roads is nearby, the area is likely to see heavy traffic and crowd movement.
The police also referenced a tragic stampede that occurred around two years ago, in which a woman lost her life and a child suffered permanent injuries. Given these circumstances, authorities need to assess whether adequate police personnel can be deployed safely.
Nani thanked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his response, stating he will abide by the Police department’s final decision.
With The Paradise premieres set to begin in a few hours, all eyes are now on whether Nani will get to experience his film’s premiere alongside the audience at RTC X Roads.
