Puri Jagannadh gave a big comeback with Ismart Shankar. The film was a major milestone in Puri’s as well as Ram’s career. Unfortunately, he immediately faced a big setback with Liger. Even though Liger gave a bad result, the craze of Ismart Shankar and the promotional content of Double Ismart have helped the film to fetch a record deal.
Hanuman producers Prime Show Entertainments have acquired the worldwide rights of Double Ismartt for a record price of 54 Cr. This is a massive deal and the makers are hoping to cash in on the release date of 15th August which will be a big holiday weekend.
This is a great chance for both Puri Jagannadh and Ram. If the word of mouth is positive then it will lead to easy recovery, as there are good chances for the film to deliver good numbers in Hindi. Even Liger opened with good numbers in Hindi and that’s something Puri and co. would be looking to emulate.
Puri has also produced this film along with Charmy under Puri Connects banner. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Kavya Thapar, and Sayaji Shinde in key roles with Mani Sharma composing the music.
