RC17 Heroine Locked: A Telugu Debutante Lands the Biggest Break of Her Career

Aakasamlo Oka Tara Actress Satvika Veeravalli to romance Ram Charan in RC17.

Ram Charan and Sukumar’s RC17 has found its leading lady, and it’s a surprise pick. A young Telugu actress, still at the very start of her career, has been finalised as one of the lead actresses in the film.

The Actress

The actress is Satvika Veeravalli, who makes her debut with Aakasamlo Oka Tara.

For a newcomer, landing a role opposite Ram Charan in a Sukumar film is a dream break. RC17 is one of the most anticipated Telugu films, and being part of it puts Satvika in the spotlight right away.

A Telugu Girl in the Lead

There’s another reason fans are excited. Satvika is a Telugu girl, and big Telugu films rarely cast Telugu actresses in lead roles these days.

Sukumar choosing a Telugu debutante for a project of this scale is a refreshing move, and it’s already winning praise on social media.

Announcement Could Come Tomorrow

RC17 has its pooja ceremony tomorrow, November 1. The lead actresses could be officially announced at the launch itself.

Shoot From December

After the pooja, the regular shoot is set to begin in December. Producer Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers has said things will move at a “brisk pace” from the launch, and Sukumar is said to be planning quick, well-organised schedules this time, unlike his usual style.

The Rangasthalam Reunion

RC17 brings Ram Charan and Sukumar back together after their blockbuster Rangasthalam. With Sukumar coming off the record-breaking Pushpa films, expectations are sky-high.

The music director is still to be confirmed, with talk of Anirudh Ravichander coming on board in place of Sukumar’s regular composer, Devi Sri Prasad. That announcement could also come at tomorrow’s pooja.
