Ravi Teja Scores Hat-Trick of Disasters

Eagle makers are set to release an entertaining trailer. The second trailer of the film Eagle is likely to be released in theatres during the pre-release event, which is expected to happen this weekend. The unit Eagle is doing aggressive promotions despite pressure from the distribution circles to postpone the film.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Eagle was released last week to unfavourable reviews and little buzz. The film was initially scheduled for a Sankranti release but was pushed to February due to theatre allocation issues.

Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, this stylish action thriller is now heading to box-office failure. With Eagle’s dismal performance, Ravi Teja has now registered a hattrick of failures. The Mass Maharaja registered a resounding comeback with Dhamaka (2022) and Waltair Veerayya (2023). These back-to-back hits gave his fans a great joy. But since then he has delivered consecutive failures like Ravanasura, Tiger Nageswar Rao, and now Eagle.

The fans are now worried about Ravi Teja destroying his market. There was a time when the Mass Maharaja delivered box office numbers on par with top heroes. But with continuous flops, his market is getting impacted both theatrically and non-theatrically. His next film is with Harish Shankar titled Mr Bachchan and this is an extremely crucial film for him.

Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, the film also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Kavya Thapar, Navadeep, Madhoo among others. The breakeven mark stands at a modest 23 crore and the film has not even collected 50%
