Ranbir Kapoor‘s upcoming film based on the Hindu epic, Ramayana seems to face legal trouble. The film was announced and started filming recently with Sai Pallavi joining the film to portray Lord Sita. Kannada Actor, Yash has also been confirmed to play Ravana’s role in the film. However, all these triggered other producers who wanted to make Ramayana.

Tollywood Ace producers, Allu Aravind and Madhu Mantena had decided to make a film based on Ramayana. Both these have send legal notices to the team of Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana. Both the producers ventured into a production company, Allu Mantena Media Ventures LLP to produce this film. They issued a public notice demanding the rights of Ramayana to themselves.

The team of Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana stands silent and they haven’t commented anything about the legal notice. This film is being directed by the fame of Dangal and Chichchore, Nitesh Tiwari. The film is also planned on a large scale with a Pan-Indian tag. Sai Pallavi and Yash coming on board the film is also the main reason for this. Yash also stands as one of the producers of the film. It needs to be seen how all these respond to this. They have to face much trouble if they go ahead with the shoot.
