Actor Daggubati Rana has given a surprise to his fans and audience with his new pan India announcement. He announced a new movie and a web series as well at the prestigious San Diego Comic Con event. He announced his film and web series will be produced under his new production banner Spirit Media during the San Diego Comic Con event in California, USA. The rumor of Rana doing a film based on HiranyaKashap was in the news for many years, but the announcement by Rana this evening was a surprise to one and all.
In fact everyone thought that he went to the Comic Con event for the promotions of Prabhas’s Project K. Rana fans are very excited about this project, and they are awaiting much more interesting updates about it.
As said above, Hiranyakashyap the Pan India film based on Amar Chitra Katha Comics will be produced by Rana under the banner of his production company Spirit Media. Rana will play the title role. The wizard of words Trivikram Srinivas is writing the script for the film. It will be very intriguing to see Rana in the role of Hiranyakashyapa, a powerful demon who tries to erode the trust of devotees in Lord Vishnu.
Rana will also be producing a historical web series titled Lords of Deccan under Spirit Media. The series contains many elements, including the origin and rule of the Chalukya dynasty. Rana wants the series to be made in such a way that it captures the chalukya period and empire. The Lords of the Deccan series will be produced by Rana in partnership with the OTT platform Sony LIV.
Rana will also unveil the comic character of Malayalam film Minnal Murali in popular comic magazine Tinkle. He is doing this in partnership with Weekend Blockbusters, which produced the Minnal Murali film.
