Ram’s intro action episode in Skanda movie has a massive budget of 4.5Cr

It is widely known that Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Sreenu’s mass action entertainer Skanda was released on September 28th amidst good expectations, but the film failed to impress the audiences and ended up as a big loss venture after having a decent three days at the box office. While the film’s failure has shaken the trade circles and buyers, Boyapati Sreenu’s latest statement from an interview about the intro action episode of Ram in Skanda has gone viral.

In the latest interview, Boyapati Sreenu himself confirmed that the intro action episode of Ram in the film was made on a huge scale using 29 generators, and it was shot for 11 days. The total budget of the action episode itself cost a whopping 4.5Cr. According to the industry buzz, the budget of the film, Skanda is more than 85Cr.

The theatrical rights of the film are valued at 50Cr, and it has done just 50% recover in 5 days. Overall, the film has collected below par numbers at the box office and is all set to end up as a huge loss venture for the buyers.

The movie’s music was composed by S Thaman. Srinivasaa Chitturi produced Skanda under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen, making it the most expensive movie for Ram. The movie features Sree Leela as the female lead, and Saiee Manjrekar will play a crucial role. The movie presented by ZEE Studios South and Pavan Kumar features Santosh Detake as the cinematographer. Editing is handled by Tammiraju.

Skanda has had a Pan India release on September 28th in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
