Teja Sajja and Karthik Gattamneni’s Mirai became a big hit and is heading towards a big blockbuster at the box office. The veteran director Ram Gopal Varma slaps himself because of Manchu Manoj’s performance in the film.

RGV took to his X (Twitter) and said that after watching Mirai, he honestly can’t recall the last time VFX felt this grand, even in films with budgets over ₹400 crore.

He also said that he saw Manchu Manoj as a miscast as the villain, but after seeing the powerful performance, Ram Gopal Varma had to slap himself for doubting Manchu Manoj. The controversial filmmaker also appreciated Teja Sajja and stated that the actor looked cool in the action sequences.

According to RGV, the visuals, background score, and screenplay structure of Mirai are simple, and certain moments, especially the interval block, the build-up, and the devotional undertones, felt deeply immersive.

He tagged director Karthik Gattamneni and said that Mirai’s success came because it feels like a vivid dream. Its mythology painted in visual brilliance, layered with heroism. The film achieves its ambition through masterful control of Karthik over every department.

Also, the Rangeela director appreciated producer Vishwa Prasad for choosing passion over industry warnings and choosing to believe in the content of the film.

As Ram Gopal Varma congratulates the team of Mira, a few online users see his post as mere publicity, while a section supports him, as he really liked the film and the efforts behind it.
