Legendary actor Rajinikanth has once again set out on a soul-searching journey to the Himalayas. Currently staying at an ashram in Rishikesh, he is expected to travel to Badrinath tomorrow, followed by a visit to the sacred Baba’s Cave.
Known for seeking peace and clarity in the mountains, Rajinikanth often takes time off from his busy schedule to reconnect with his spiritual side and visits the Himalayas.
Earlier this August, Rajinikanth released Coolie, which received mixed reactions from critics and audiences. Despite the divided opinions, the film stormed the box office and collected a massive ₹500 crore globally.
Photos of the superstar at the Rishikesh ashram and on his spiritual trail have gone viral, sparking fan admiration and even light-hearted jokes online, which were aimed at director Nelson, as Rajini’s frequent breaks from shooting continue to stir chatter.
His next big release, Jailer 2, is slated for June 2026. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar with music by Anirudh Ravichander, the film boasts a massive ensemble cast from across Indian cinema.
