Coolie starring Rajinikanth is one of the most awaited films of Kollywood. The film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently under shoot. Originally slated for release on 1st May as summer outing, the film is now speculated to have postponed to Independence day. This will invite a clash with NTR’s War 2.
It came to be known that the post production works of Coolie would take much time than expected. The makers are eyeing the Independence day release slot. However, War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR has already been announced for the same release date. So both the films are officially set for a clash at the box office.
This will definitely impact the prospects of War 2 as Coolie too enjoys a considerable amount of craze at Pan India level. The film will also have a good release in South India disrupting the plans of War 2. We need to see how the makers of both the films will react now.
