Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden death paved way for many discussions in Bollywood. His last film was a Netflix Original Drive and his upcoming movie Dil Bechara is in post-production. The movie is the Hindi remake of Hollywood drama The Fault in Our Stars and it features debutante Sanjana Sanghi as a female lead directed by Mukesh Chhabra. Its release was initially scheduled in November 2019, which couldn’t happen due to several reasons.
The current situations made the many filmmakers turn towards the OTT release of their films as there is no sign of reopening theatres so soon. So, the Dil Bechara team also decided to release this film directly on OTT but now Sushant’s fans are demanding for the theatrical release and started tweeting with the hashtag ‘Dil Bechara On Big Screen’ which went on trending in the Twitter. Oscar Award Winner A.R.Rahman also responded over this via his official twitter handle by tweeting “Fans Wish to See Sushant Singh Rajput’s Last Film in Theaters, #DilBecharaOnBigScreen Trends” Many of his followers reacted to his tweet positively and as they want to Sushant on the silver screen for the last time. The movie unit has not yet released any update over the theatrical release. Let’s look out for the ultimate decision by the filmmakers.
