Pushpa 2 had a record-breaking weekend in Hindi, and a good one in Telugu, Tamil, and Karnataka. Kerala was the only market which disappointed with disastrous collections for this Allu Arjun-Rashmika starter. The film registered record-breaking collections worldwide after the 1st weekend.
On its first day, this Sukumar film collected 280 Cr gross. The 2nd day brought in 135 Cr while Day 3 saw 165 Cr. The final day of the weekend brought a spike in collections with 185 Cr gross. The total worldwide collections for 4 days stands at Rs 765 Cr gross.
These are record breaking collections for an Indian film. Pushpa 2 is set to cross the 1000 Cr mark this week and will soon become the fastest film to achieve the Rs 1000 Cr mark. It is also on track to chase Baahubali 2 thanks to the sensational response from the Hindi market. The pan-India sequel has recorded good advances in Hindi even today.
