Committee Formed to Resolve Producers-Exhibitors Dispute

The ongoing dispute between Telugu film producers and exhibitors over the percentage-sharing and rental system may finally be heading towards a resolution. The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce has officially announced the formation of a special committee to address the issue and find an amicable solution.

Joint Meeting Held Today

A joint meeting involving members from the producer, exhibitor, and distributor sectors was held today, May 15, 2026, at the Film Chamber office in Hyderabad. During the meeting, all parties discussed the long-running concerns surrounding the percentage-sharing model and rental system.
