Prime Video Shocks Producers

The lates news is that the Amazon Prime has reduced Rs.2/- per hour w.e.f 15th January 2025, for all the Revenue Sharing basis on the respective platform. Now this will be a big blow to the small budget films, who rely on the revenue sharing model business with the OTT Platforms.

This will be a big shock to the producers, who do not fear about the theatrical run and sell the films based on their views. Now this reduction of price from Amazon will make a big difference. Prime Video shocks Producers with its new rule.

Also, starting January 2025, Prime members will be able to use Prime Video on up to five devices, with a limit of two TVs, according to an email shared with a Times of India Tech Team member. The platform will also include ads in between the streaming of Movies or shows.
