Peddi 150 Cr Share: Ram Charan Film Joins Elite Club

Ram Charan‘s Peddi has achieved a significant box office milestone, with its Telugu version crossing the ₹150 Cr share mark. The film joins an elite list of just 12 Telugu films to reach this benchmark, cementing its position as one of 2026’s major successes in Telugu cinema.

Peddi Joins the ₹150 Cr Share Club

Despite underperforming in other languages and overseas markets, Peddi has maintained strong momentum in Telugu states. The film’s Telugu version has now entered the ₹150 Cr share club, making it the 12th Telugu film to achieve this milestone since Baahubali started the trend in 2015.

Pan-India Trend Drives Box Office Growth

The ₹150 Cr share club, initiated by Baahubali in 2015, has witnessed accelerated growth in recent years. The Pan-India release strategy has enabled Telugu films to achieve unprecedented box office numbers, with multiple releases now crossing this benchmark annually.

From 2022 onwards, the frequency of films entering this elite club has increased significantly. Films like Pushpa 2, which went on to cross even the ₹300 Cr share mark, demonstrate the expanding theatrical market for Telugu cinema across India.

Third Solo Mega Family Film in Elite Club

Peddi marks the third solo Mega Family film to cross ₹150 Cr share in Telugu. Allu Arjun previously achieved this milestone twice with Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020) and Pushpa 2 (2024), while Ram Charan‘s RRR (2022), being a multi-starrer, stands as a separate achievement.

With Peddi, Ram Charan now joins his cousin Allu Arjun in the ₹150 Cr share club with a solo release, further strengthening the Mega Family’s dominance at the Telugu box office.
