Pushpa 2, the massive pan-Indian blockbuster ended its theatrical run and arrived on OTT recently. The film saw a very good run at the box office, and it put numbers for more than one month. Even for Sankrnathi and Republic weekend, the film had considerable occupancy in the theaters. Pushpa 2 becomes the third Telugu film to cross 300 Cr share worldwide.
The film’s all versions combined gross is around 1670 Cr, which made it a mega blockbuster. Coming to the Telugu version, in Telugu states (Andhra and Nizam) the movie has collected 213 Cr share including GST. The worldwide share of the Telugu version will be 302 Cr. Pushpa 2 becomes the third Telugu film to cross 300 Cr share worldwide.
This is the 3rd 300 Cr share film in Telugu Cinema after Baahubali 2 and RRR. But if calculated, Pushpa 2: The Rule is an above-average venture in Telugu, as a few buyers achieved the breakeven mark, and a few ended up with some losses. No buyers made huge money in Telugu with Pushpa 2 like Hindi. The movie was sold at record prices, and that is why even though it did extraordinary numbers, for the business it has done, the movie ended up as an above-average grosser in Telugu
When we see the numbers of Pushpa 2, the numbers are extraordinary everywhere. Especially in Telugu states, while overseas numbers of Telugu version disappointed a bit as the film closed under Kalki.
