Pawan Kalyan Moves Delhi High Court

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has approached the Delhi High Court, alleging that certain social media posts are violating his personality rights and damaging his identity. In his petition, he stated that these posts are affecting his personal freedom. Senior advocate Sai Deepak filed the petition on behalf of Pawan Kalyan. The court has directed him to submit details of the violations within one week.

Pawan Kalyan, also known as “Jana Senani,” sought the court’s intervention to protect his personality rights. He stated that several social media platforms are misusing his photos and videos by morphing them with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) without his consent. He requested the court to take strict action against such platforms.

Hearing the petition on Friday, the Delhi High Court issued key directives. It ordered the social media platforms to submit all links in which Pawan Kalyan’s photos and videos were misused within 48 hours. The court further instructed that appropriate action must be taken on these links within a week.

Pawan Kalyan to secure his personality rights

The court observed that AI-generated fake content created using Pawan Kalyan’s images and videos must be removed immediately. The next hearing on this petition has been scheduled for December 22. The complaint states that some individuals are using these platforms as a weapon to attack him politically and personally.

A few days ago, several prominent actors, including Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, and NTR, also approached the court with similar complaints, stating that their names, photos, and voices were being misused. Now, in Pawan Kalyan’s case as well, the court has ordered suitable action on the matter.
