Many Malayalam films have collected 150 Cr gross, 200 Cr gross, and even 250 Cr, and recently Lokah achieved a 300 Cr milestone as well. But somehow, Mammootty did not achieve such big numbers due to the genres he is experimenting with.
KalamKaval is the latest crime thriller from the Malayalam industry starring Mammootty, and the film is on its way to becoming his first 100 Cr grosser. What’s more fascinating is that the actor played the antagonist role, and it struck a chord with audiences.
The film collected around 63 Cr Gross worldwide in its 1st week, and it needs another 25 Cr gross to become Mammootty’s career biggest, which is definitely possible, and it also has high chances of becoming his first century film.
The movie needs to see some big numbers over this weekend if it wants to cross the three-digit number, and if the 2nd weekend puts the numbers more than 20cr, then the movie will definitely joins 100 Cr club.
