Power Star Pawan Kalyan tore into YSRCP for their petty vindictive politics and termed them ‘goons’ during his speech earlier in Mangalgiri today. He further questioned the ruling party’s strategy behind targeting his movies with reduced ticket prices.
It all started with Vakeel Saab last year when the AP Government brought a fresh G.O that reduced the ticket prices in AP. While other movies got waivers and concessions on ticket hikes, Pawan was again targeted during Bheemla Nayak’s release earlier this year.
Bheemla Nayak got off to a resounding start and registered great numbers worldwide initially. All the locations were expected to do well except for Andhra Pradesh. And that was because of the ticket price restrictions by the AP government. This move caused great losses to the collections of this project.
The Janasena Chief questioned YSRCP’s intention behind these decisions. He questioned the government on their sudden need to make entertainment accessible to everyone only during his movie releases.
“Every time during the release of my film, the ticket prices will increase rapidly. And it happened during Vakeel Saab as well as Bheemla Nayak’s release. Everyone knows the reason behind it,” said Pawan Kalyan
