In the current re-release trend, many classic films are performing extremely well at the box office and collecting huge numbers. Nuvvu Naaku Nachav is one of the all-time classics in Tollywood and has always been celebrated by audiences.
Because of this, there were high expectations that its re-release would achieve big and even record-breaking box office collections.
But the film is re-releasing today with surprisingly average advance bookings. While a few theatres have reported houseful shows, this is limited to only a small number of screens. In most theatres, occupancy levels are not encouraging, which has come as a shock to trade circles and fans alike.
For the New Year season, Jalsa, Murari, and Nuvvu Naaku Nachav were chosen for re-releases. Jalsa and Murari have already been re-released earlier, and even though this is their second re-release, both films have performed better than Nuvvu Naaku Nachav in its first re-release.
