NTR’s American accent receiving huge trolls in social media

RRR is getting bigger and bigger day by day and its reach is making the Indian film fraternity proud every day, but it also filled the journey with a few mistakes. The internet is currently cringing over a video in which actor NTR is trying the American accent during an interview for the film.

The star and other members of the film’s unit are in the US to campaign for RRR ahead of the Golden Globe Awards. They nominated the SS Rajamouli directorial in two categories at the popular international cinema awards—Best Original Song—Motion Picture, and Best Picture—Non-English Language.

Monday, a new video of the film’s team from an interview in the US emerged on social media. Jr NTR, who plays the role of Komaram Bheem in RRR, is seen talking about the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ in the video. But his accent in the video really irked his fans and audience.

Netizens felt that may be for some people this accent might sound good and he speaks so nicely, they admire listening to him, also care for his sense of humor but this accent putting off them. They wish that someone should ask him to speak like he does normally.

Even NTR fans say that there’s no need for this forced accent. RRR is winning in the west because it is true to its history and culture. We are not sure why NTR felt there is a need to have this accent when he is in US, they said.

NTR’s accent looks artificial, and he might have thought that speaking in an American accent could make him special, but it is receiving a huge number of trolls on social media.

Meanwhile, RRR is also rooting for the Oscars. The final nominations for the Academy Awards 2023 will be out by January 24.
