The first October 30 film has moved out of Aadarsha Kutumbam’s way. Director Sailesh Kolanu has announced that his romantic film Emo Emo Idi will no longer release on October 30, and a new date will be announced soon.
What Sailesh Kolanu Said
Sailesh shared the news on X with a warm note for Venkatesh.
“Some people hold a special place in all our hearts. Our beloved VenkyMama is one of them,” he wrote. “With Venky sir’s Adarsha Kutumbam arriving on October 30, our Emo Emo Idi will meet you on a new date, to be announced soon.”
He also wished Trivikram, Srinidhi Shetty, producer Naga Vamsi, Chinababu and the entire Aadarsha Kutumbam team “a wonderful release and a huge success.”
“Until then, keep enjoying Emo Emo Idi’s music. More lovely songs are coming your way!” he added.
A Venkatesh Connection
Sailesh’s respect for Venkatesh goes back to their work together. He directed Venkatesh in the action thriller Saindhav, so stepping aside for his film was a natural, friendly gesture.
Same Producer on Both Sides
There’s another reason the move made sense. Emo Emo Idi is produced by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
Naga Vamsi is also closely involved with Aadarsha Kutumbam, which comes from the sister banner Haarika & Hassine Creations. Two films from the same camp clashing on the same day would only have hurt both.
A Change of Pace for Sailesh
Emo Emo Idi is a big change for Sailesh Kolanu, best known for the HIT crime thriller franchise. This time, he has written and directed a romantic love story. The new poster shows the lead pair in a snowy, romantic setting.
The music is by Hesham Abdul Wahab, who composed the hit songs of Hi Nanna and Kushi, and the film’s songs are already getting a good response.
Who’s Next?
With Emo Emo Idi out of the way, the focus is now on the other October 30 films, including Vishwak Sen’s Cult, Itlu Arjuna, Summer Holidays, Chandrayaan and Killer. More date changes are expected in the coming days.
