The film is about to release this 29th April. There were earlier many rumours about the film going for many reshoots. Koratala Shiva rubbished all those rumours now.
Talking about these rumours, he even said that any reshoots would finally help the film’s output. He felt there was no wrong about doing reshoots to any scene. He said that any further improvement about a scene is the reason for the reshoot and wondered why many feel wrong about reshoots. Neglecting a scene which came bad is wrong he felt. Entertaining the audiences who come to the theatres is our goal, he also said. Reshooting those scenes to entertain the audiences is not bad and he even said that such reshoots happen by the consultations with the producers. He then refuted all the rumours surrounding the reshoots happened in Acharya.
The role Ram Charan did was earlier offered to Mahesh Babu and it didn’t materialize. This role’s length was further increased and made as a mutli-starrer after Ram Charan’s entry into the film. The theatrical business value is at 133 crores worldwide.
