Karnataka film distributors have decided to not release any movie state-wide from March 17th to March 23rd. This decision has been taken as Kannada Superstar Puneeth Rajkumar’s last film ‘James’ would be releasing on the same day.
The distributors association as a mark of respect for ‘Appu’ has decided to leave the week free of any other releases. Puneeth Rajkumar, 46 passed away last year on October 29th due to a cardiac arrest. His death sent shockwaves across the nation and Karnataka went into mourning.
March 17th marks the birth anniversary of the actor and the makers are running against the time to complete the CGI and RR of the film.
James was one of the last films Puneeth Rajkumar had completed shooting. Puneeth’s portions would be dubbed by other artists. Priya Anand will star opposite the star in this film.
