Jailer 2 will not be released in 2025. It is widely known that Jailer, the action drama starring Superstar Rajinikanth and directed by Nelson was released last year and became a massive blockbuster at the box office. The film was supposed to have a sequel and according to the reports, Jailer 2’s entire pre-production works are completed, and it was said that a promo is getting ready to announce the film on Rajinikanth’s birthday.
The shoot is expected to start in early 2025. The sequel of Jailer was initially planned for Diwali 2025. But now the news is that Nelson wants more time for the film, and he does not want to rush through it, as it is a blockbuster film’s sequel and there are high expectations on it. So, Jailer 2 will not be released in 2025.
Nelson is said to be making the film on a higher level. Now the film’s release plans are said to be shifted to summer 2026. That means only one Rajinikanth’s film will be released in 2025 which is Coolie, and it will be released in Summer 2025.
