No Early OTT Release for Kannappa

So, now the movie is releasing in all national multiplexes in Hindi belts, which means Kannappa will not have an early OTT release, and it will be available on digital platforms after 8 weeks of theatrical release. The movie is releasing tomorrow, and though the buzz was not as big as the team expected, the audiences seem to be interested in watching the film. The film got into the hourly bookings as soon as it was made available on the ticket booking platform, BookMyShow, and if the WOM is positive, then it has chances to score huge numbers.

After 10 years of hard work, Manchu Vishnu is finally releasing his dream project, Kannappa, in theaters. The film will have a grand worldwide release, and the latest news is that Kannappa will not have an early OTT release.

The team is very confident about the film, and Vishnu stated in an earlier interview that he did not sell it for moderate prices, be it theatrical or non-theatrical rights. The actor and producer took the risk on his own by believing the content.

Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa boasts an ensemble cast and a powerful story rooted in Indian history mixed with fictional setting. Mohanlal, Prabhas, and Akshay Kumar play special and crucial roles in the film. 

Huge Starcast and Rooted Storyline can raise the bar for Kannappa at the Box Office

Vishnu plays Thinnadu, a valiant warrior and atheist who transforms into Bhaktha Kannappa, Lord Shiva’s faithful follower. Akshay Kumar plays Lord Shiva, Prabhas appears as Rudra, while Mohanlal plays the part of Kirata. 

The film features other noteworthy cast members, including Kajal Aggarwal, Preity Mukundhan, Brahmanandam, and Sarath Kumar. 

Twenty Four Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment are co-producing the film, directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, and Vishnu Manchu himself wrote the script for the film.
