Hyderabad police are taking strict action against iBomma Ravi, the main accused in the Tollywood movie piracy case. According to reports, a total of five different cases have been registered against him.
Looking at the details, one case was filed based on a complaint by the Anti-Piracy Cell, while another case was registered in connection with a betting app promotional activity. In addition, cases were filed based on complaints submitted by several film directors.
Currently, the police have arrested iBomma Ravi and are interrogating him in relation to all five cases, including Tollywood movie piracy and the Cybercrime Police have taken him into five-day custody. The investigation on the second day of custody has reportedly been intensified.
During the interrogation, the police are examining several key questions: Who supported Ravi in the piracy operations? Who else played a role behind him? Did he operate this large piracy network alone, or was it managed by a group? Who provided technical assistance for running the iBomma website and uploading videos? The Cybercrime Police are conducting a detailed investigation from these angles.
It is expected that several important facts related to the piracy network may come to light through this inquiry.
