Superstar Mahesh Babu’s wife, Namrata, inaugurated a mother’s milk bank at Andhra Hospitals in Vijayawada. On this occasion, she visited the children who underwent heart surgery. The milk bank has been set up with the intention of helping infants who do not have access to breast milk. Over the last 10 years, the Mahesh Babu Foundation has performed heart surgeries on more than 4,500 children. The foundation’s services will be expanded to further improve the health of children. “We are trying to take up more initiatives to protect children’s health,” Namrata said.

• It is an honor to inaugurate the Mothers Milk Bank Center, the first of its kind in Andhra Pradesh, which will provide vital support to infants whose mothers cannot produce milk while ensuring crucial precautions are taken.
• In addition, we are initiating a cervical cancer vaccination program for girls aged 9 to 18, with a goal of vaccinating 1,500 girls by 2025.
Both programs are totally free of cost. Namrata Shirodkar launched AP’s first Mothers Milk Bank, and Apollo hospitals and MB Foundation collaborated for this heartfelt initiative.
